Advanced Practice Nurse, Hematology-Oncology, DHMC

FRIDAY, JANUARY 26, 2018

12:00 – 1:00 PM (ET)

AUDITORIUM H

Holistic nursing is not necessarily something that you do: it is an attitude, a

philosophy, and a way of being. Holistic nursing is defined as “all nursing

practice that has healing the whole person as its goal” (American Holistic

Nurses’ Association, 1998, Description of Holistic Nursing). This presentation

will focus on holistic nursing as a way of thinking, reflecting, practicing, and

being-in-the-world.

LEARNING OUTCOME: At the conclusion of this learning activity, the

participant will be able to apply knowledge of holistic nursing theory to

individual nursing practice at the point of care.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Nursing Continuing Education Council is accredited as a provider of continuing

nursing education by the American Nurses Credential Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

This educational activity carries 1.0 contact hour.

PLEASE NOTE: You must attend at least 80% of the program to receive credit.
