2025 FALL Conference ZOOM EVENT! 

WHEN:   Saturday October 18, 2025

TIME:  830am – 1:30pm (registration opens at 8:00)

WHERE:  ZOOM only 

COST:  PLEASE NOTE: NHSMA  members will attend for FREE

ALL OTHER attendees: 

$20 for Non- NHSMA Members (this includes out of state AAMA members)

4 CEUs will be available, scheduled classes include: 

  • Renee Plodzik APRN presents Hospice Care

  • Chris Lopez PHT presents Information on GLP1 medications 

  • NHSMA presents Administrative Kahoots Game lead by Jen DePiano, CMA(AAMA)

  • We are still finalizing our 4th CEU: Information to come. 

  • We will also give a report on the AAMA National Conference being held in late September.

regarding the credentialing question: Since the NHSMA welcomes ALL Medical Assistants it is helpful for us to get a sense of how many of our members have different credentials. We want to advocate for all of you so we want to be sure we are speaking to the right organizations. Below is a list of of the 3 most common organizations in the state and what credentials they present.

Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) Credential is through the American Medical Technologists (AMT)

​

Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) Credential is through the  National Healthcare Association (NHA)

​

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Credential is through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA).
